{"id":23,"date":"2020-07-07T10:29:00","date_gmt":"2020-07-07T08:29:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/change-makers.de\/?page_id=23"},"modified":"2023-02-28T15:04:37","modified_gmt":"2023-02-28T14:04:37","slug":"wir","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/changemakers.film\/en\/wir\/","title":{"rendered":"We"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We, the initiators of changemakers.film and the <strong>\"Voluntary Commitment\nand Declaration on Green Filming\"<\/strong>, are the actors Pheline Roggan and\nMoritz Vierboom and the director Laura Fischer. We got to know each\nother through our commitment in various climate and environmental\ninitiatives as well as climate justice demonstrations. We all had -\nquite independently of each other - the strong desire to actively do\nsomething against the climate crisis also in our immediate field of\nactivity, the film industry. So we sat together and brainstormed about\nwhere and how we could start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Our first project was the cooperation \u201cGreen Room\u201d: During Berlinale 2020 we organized\ntwo panel discussions on \u201cShooting Green\u201d to begin this conversation, connect with and\nlearn from our colleagues from different departments, broadcast stations and film funds.\nAfter this positive experience we decided to move forward. We studied existing initiatives\nsuch as the Green Shooting guidelines developed by MFG Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, the \u201cGr\u00fcnen\nDrehpass\u201d (\u201cGreen passport for shooting\u201d) developed by Filmf\u00f6rderung Hamburg Schleswig-\nHolstein and the Selbstverpflichtung des unabh\u00e4ngigen Produzentenverbandes (\u201cSelf-\nCommitment of independent film producers\u201d.) We also talked to those involved as well as\nlabor unions and associations. Based on what we learned, the idea for the Voluntary Self-\nCommitment was born. Working within the film industry we want to do our part to protect\nthe environment and support the existing initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are more than willing to let go of old habits and luxury. We are not afraid to take a\nstand. We are responsible for change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From September 2021, agent Silke Bacher will take over from Miriam Stein. Pauline Daemgen (Fridays for Future) looks after the social media activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein wichtiger Schritt ist, dass wir als Changemakers.film aktiver Teil der Verhandlungen zu den einheitlichen \u00f6kologischen Standards (vormals Mindeststandards) des Arbeitskreises \u201eGreen Shooting\u201c waren. Somit konnten wir unserer Perspektive f\u00fcr eine nachhaltige Film- und Medienproduktionen mehr Gewicht verleihen. Auch unsere \u201eKomplizen\u201c Philip Gassmann (Film- und TV-Nachhaltigkeitsexperte) und Prof. Dirk Notz (Klimaforscher) waren beratend an der Entwicklung des Mindeststandards beteiligt ebenso wie der Umweltwissenschaftler Nils K\u00f6nig. Wir freuen uns, dass die Standards j\u00e4hrlich \u00fcberpr\u00fcft und ggfs. nachjustiert werden. Nur so ist nach unserer Meinung das Ziel von klimaneutralen Dreharbeiten zu erreichen. Zus\u00e4tzlich sind Politik und Staat gefragt, ihre F\u00f6rderungen entsprechend anzupassen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Standards des Arbeitskreises \u201eGreen Shooting\u201c sind ein erster Schritt, um die Filmbranche klimaneutral und damit zukunftsf\u00e4hig zu machen. Wollen wir die Klimaziele und das 1,5 Grad-Ziel einhalten, m\u00fcssen alle Branchen ihre Produktionsweisen auf klimaneutrales Wirtschaften umstellen. Wir freuen uns sehr, dass so viele Sender und Produktionsfirmen eigenst\u00e4ndig t\u00e4tig werden und sich verbindlich selbst verpflichten, noch bevor die Politik verpflichtende Regularien einf\u00fchrt. Das ist ein gutes Signal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hintergrund: Alle beteiligten Sender, Produktionsunternehmen, VoD-Dienste sowie Filmf\u00f6rderer setzen die verbindliche Selbstverpflichtung zum 1. Januar 2022 um. Das Engagement wird \u00fcber das Label \u201egreen motion\u201c sichtbar gemacht. Am 16. Februar 2023 wurden die neuen und finalen \u00f6kologischen Standards f\u00fcr eine nachhaltige Filmproduktion von der Beauftragten der Bundesregierung f\u00fcr Kultur und Medien (BKM), Claudia Roth, verk\u00fcndet, u.a. in Anwesenheit von Changemakers.film, die sich an der Gestaltung der Standards im Arbeitskreis \u201eGreen Shooting\u201c aktiv beteiligt hat. Die neuen \u00f6kologischen Standards sollen sp\u00e4testens ab dem 1.
